Brake fluid service
We recommend flushing your brake fluid every three years or as needed. Over time brake fluid absorbs moisture and contaminant’s which causes premature brake component failure and poor stopping performance. High moisture content lowers the boiling point of the fluid. Once brake fluid gets hot enough to boil, hydraulic pressure can be lost resulting in little or no stopping power when brake pedal the depressed. High moisture and contamination also causes premature brake component failure such as damage to calipers, wheel cylinders, lines, and expensive ABS components. Jack’s Auto Service recommends new brake fluid every time a hydraulic component is replaced. Our ASE certified technicians can test your brake fluid and let you know when it is time to change it.
