Great personal service; I stopped for new wiper blades just after our christmas blizzard. the team, including the owner, pitched in to help get the vehicle back on the road as soon as they could. with this kind of care for minor work, I know they'd take good care of something more critical.

Extremely friendly staff, no pressure, quick service. I was very pleased with my experience and will be continuing to bring my business to Jack's.

oUR FAMILY HAS GONE TO JACK'S aUTO FOR YEARS. wE HAVE DRIVEN BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC VEHICLES AND JACK'S HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY ACCOMMODATING TO THIS. tHEY ARE GREAT PROBLEM SOLVERS, AN HONEST ORGANIZATION, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND RESPECTFUL. tHE EMPLOYEES TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN OPTIONS AND WORK HARD TO FIND THE CUSTOMER A GOOD DEAL ON PARTS, ETC., DESPITE OFTEN BEING QUITE BUSY IN THE SHOP AND STATION. jACK'S HAS GOTTEN US OUT OF A FEW VEHICLE PICKLES OVER THE YEARS AND WE REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!

keith and company were very friendly and professional. unlike most places i've taken my truck in the past they did not try to upsell me or pressure me into unnecessary repairs. they were very upfront and honest, i won't take my truck anywhere else.

Updated: Keith read the review I wrote below and followed up with me and expressed his concerns with my experience. I appreciated the time he took to discuss with me what went wrong and how things were mishandled and rectified the situaiton. He said he appreciated the honest review because it made him review his business approach and has now changed things to help avoid situations like this in the future. With Keith's follow up I would be comfortable bringing back my vehicle to give them an opportunity to fix any future problems. Original Post: I have never written a review, but the past experience I have had just hasn't been sitting well with me. This is 2nd time taking my vehicle to Jack's. The first time they did a good job quick turn around and very specific and reasonable rates. However 2nd time, can't say the same. Brought my car in there with a miss in the engine, they diagnosed it and told me have to wait over the holiday weekend (expected) since the part was not available. Told me it what the problem was and it was a very involved since it was in the middle of the engine and should do the spark plugs while doing it all. I said ok, fortunately the parts weren't available since I was able to Youtube the fix and it was literally 2 bolts under an access panel, I picked up my car and I was able to change the plugs myself and buy the part with overnight shipping and saved myself about $550. I am inexperienced mechanic and had the car running in 45 minutes. I know they run a business and need to make a profit, I paid for the diagnostics (2 hours labor, hmmmm) so they were going to charge me the extra $550 in labor, not sure that's the going rate for an hour of shop labor?? If you go there just research what they are going to do.

POC I am truely sorry for your less than satisfactory visit. After reviewing the situation with staff I believe we could have done a much better job. Thank you for leaving the review and speaking with me on the phone. We will learn from this situation and hope to have the opportunity to serve you again. - Keith

My husband and I very much appreciated the kindness shown by all employees that we interacted with as well as the thoroughness of the job accomplished, the honesty about things that did or did not need to be fixed, and the lack of pressure to purchase certain things or have certain services accomplished immediately (gave recommended timelines instead).
